Drift Masters is all about keeping your vehicle drifting through corners without hitting barriers or the track walls. You need to look at your points total, but also how you’re performing on the lap and how you’re tweaking your car in the garage. This scoring system makes each run more than simply maintaining high speed.
Drift Masters has three main tracks: Race Track, City, and Snowy Track. The mountain track uses wide corners on asphalt, City takes you through brightly lit buildings and industrial areas, and Snowy Track features slippery roads, bridges, and grandstand areas.
The most notable difference lies in how you view the space before entering a corner. On the Snowy Track, the slippery surface requires more careful steering control. In areas with walls and barriers, maintaining drifts too close to the edge of the track can also end your points total.
The HUD in Drift Masters provides more data than just your final lap score. Drift score and multiplier display your scoring streak, and lap times, fastest lap, and personal bests let you compare results.
What’s special about Drift Masters is that you can change your car’s setup and earn points. Suspension allows setting front and rear camber, ride height, spring tension, and damping. Transmissions have adjustments related to shift and clutch thresholds.
You should consider these as different setup groups, not as equivalent cosmetic options. Aftermarket paint and rims cost 2,500 credits each, while mechanical adjustments focus on performance. Headlight colour and wheel smoke effects add to the personalisation options for your appearance.
In Drift Masters, hitting walls or barriers will interrupt your drift streak. So, don't just focus on extending the slide and ignore the remaining space on the track. The Space key activates the parking brake to start the drift, while the steering keys allow you to adjust the car's direction while moving.
Use the HUD data to learn which runs work best and then watch your car settings instead of trying to change everything at once. Drift Masters is a 3D racing game that mixes together drifting technique, performance tracking, and car customisation for those who want to improve their score and their control.
