Each row, each column, and each colored area can only contain one cat. The strangest thing is the Aloof rule: the cats are not allowed to touch each other, including diagonals. A single wrong placement will break the entire board. As you progress to higher levels, the areas become more complex and winding, forcing you to calculate with extreme precision.
Start with the smallest bits of color. From the few empty cells, the required position will be very quickly evident. Beginners often overlook this detail and get bogged down in the large areas.
Once you successfully capture a cat, all surrounding cells immediately become forbidden zones. Re-scanning rows, columns, and diagonal cells at that moment is key to unlocking the next answer on the board.
Never guess. Make the most of the X marks to clear forbidden positions as soon as you spot them. Crossing out incorrect possibilities prevents your brain from becoming overloaded as the grid becomes crowded. Maintain a cautious pace, carefully observe the intersections, and you will quickly gain control of the situation.
